Our Remodeling Process
Clear steps from first call to project closeout.
Step 1: Project Intake
Start by submitting the project form or calling us directly. We gather high-level details about your space, goals, and timeline to make sure we’re aligned before moving forward.
Step 2: Walkthrough & Evaluation
We visit the home to review existing conditions, discuss how the space is used, and identify constraints common in kitchens and bathrooms—especially in older St. Louis homes.
This includes evaluating:
-
Layout limitations
-
Plumbing and electrical conditions
-
Moisture, ventilation, and structural considerations
Step 3: Scope, Packages & Design Consultation
We use remodel packages to define common scopes and set expectations early. Based on the walkthrough, the package is adjusted as needed to match the home’s condition, layout, and your preferences.
Design Consultation (When Required)
When layout planning, finish guidance, or design decisions are needed, a paid design consultation applies.
Design Consultation Fee: $280
-
Disclosed before scheduling
-
May begin during the walkthrough and continue as needed
-
Credited toward the project if construction proceeds
-
No construction pricing is guaranteed during this phase
Step 4: Final Scope & Pricing
Once scope and design decisions are confirmed, we provide a written proposal outlining:
-
Defined scope of work
-
Fixed pricing
-
Payment schedule
Pricing is established before construction begins.
Step 5: Construction
Construction is completed according to the agreed scope. We coordinate trades, maintain a controlled jobsite, and communicate throughout the build.
We prioritize:
-
Clean execution
-
Proper sequencing
-
No shortcuts behind walls
CAD Drawings
CAD drawings are available when requested or when layout clarity is required. This is a separate service and is not conceptual design.
Step 6: Final Walkthrough & Closeout
We complete a final walkthrough, address any remaining items, and close the project cleanly.
